COURSES
8
& 10 day Residential Training
Courses:
The areas covered are -
Heel on lead, sit, down, stay,
recall off lead.
At the end of the week I train
the dog and the handler
together to make sure what I
have taught the dog is also
fully understood by the
owner.
Training the owner is as
important as training the dog.
It is an area not covered by
many other dog trainers.
If I find any behavior
problems during my time with
the dog I give the owner a
free consultation and explain
what to do if and when it
happens again. If the owner wants to go on to
advanced training i.e.
personal protection for
example I am willing to
discuss a price with them.
All dogs are different and
some learn more quickly than
others and this would
be reflected in the price.
One
hour:
One to one training session.
I don't recommend training
groups because dogs need peace
and quiet to learn.
Ask anyone who has been to a
training group and you will
find that they learnt very
little.
I only train one to one for
that reason. People tell me
that they have learnt more in
one hour with me than three
months at a training school.
Home
visits:
are
usually for behavior
problems.
It is better to have a home
visit first so that we
can evaluate the dog.
If the dog is dominant for
example it will never
work for the owner even after it
has been trained.
This issue must be sorted out
first in the home and then
training can begin.
We often hear of people saying
I had my dog trained but he
would only do it for the
trainer. This is true when the
dog has no respect for the
owner.
The Les Price training method
has been tried and tested and
has an extremely high success
rate.
We are recommend by eminent
vets and rescue
charities.
